This is just a random Austin fact that I recently discovered: Austin has had a Capri Sun in his school lunch every day since he was 7. Yep, my 26 year old husband still prefers Capri Suns as his brown bag beverage of choice. Do you think if I write Kraft Foods a letter they would send us a lifetime supply? Because we are comin' up on 20 years of Capri Sun Fun folks.
I'm not really that huge a fan of Bridal Shower games, but I recently attended one where we went around and said something we learned about our husband AFTER we were married, this is the story I told:
"School started just over a month after we got married, and I thought I would be the cute wife and make Austin's lunch for school. I was so pleased with myself so when he came home I asked him how his lunch was. He responded with, "fine, thanks." It didn't sound completely convincing so I pried a bit further. Finally I discovered the problem.
Austin: "Well I prefer three pieces of lunch meat, instead of four, it saves money. And when the sandwich goes in the bag I like the top of the bread facing the opening in case I have to eat it out of the bag."
Needless to say I am now an expert sandwich maker :)
If you know Austin you know how much he likes to be on time for things. I would just like to say that in the year and a half of our marriage I have only made us late for church ONCE. Yes, thank you, a pretty amazing turn around if you ask me :) A few nights ago Austin was setting his alarm, when he said, "wouldn't that be a nightmare if my alarm didn't go off in the morning?!"
I thought I had forgotten about some important test he had the next day, "Honey, do you have a test tomorrow or something?" "No, but I would be late for class, or miss it all together!" So there you have it, my husbands nightmare is being late for, or missing class. Personally, I think we should save that term for when our house burns down or we're stuck deep in the Nevada desert with no water, but hey, that's just me! I guess we all have our fears.

haha you told that story at my bridal shower! and i hope you told it at a more recent one because mine was almost a year ago! haha.
