I have a lot of hair. If you've ever seen me you can attest to that. Naturally, I lose a lot of hair. Austin does not like this, so lately he's been lint rolling our bed before we sleep in it and then lint rolling me, just to pick up any strays. Seeing as this new routine doesn't harm anyone and doesn't interfer with my pre-bedtime schedule I have decided not to say anything about it....until our children ask for lint rollers for Christmas so they can lint roll their rooms before they leave for school :)
Austin left for Spain on Saturday night for ten days. If Austin is leaving for longer than a day he always mother's me a bit before he goes. Make sure you lock the doors, turn the heat off when you go to school, ya know that sort of stuff. However, this time he told me to:
"Be sure to look both ways before you turn."
"You mean like in the car?"
"Yes, look both ways."
Thank you honey, because I haven't been doing THAT for the last 9 years :) So to all you drivers on the road....I'm now looking both ways before I turn, you can all rest easy.
Before Austin left I gave him a hug. I thought that since he was going to be gone for ten days it would be a long meaningful embrace but it ended with "the cue", it seems innocent enough....two letters, OK.....The O is pitched slightly higher than the K, this is the END OF HUG CUE.
Really??? I mean you're leaving for ten days!!! Fine, be that way, but I'm leaving the heat on when I go to school!!!!!
